Hello!
Thanks for visiting me here at Exactly Like Nothing Else. My name is Craig Henneberry and I live and breathe web!
I am a passionate, creative, Sydney based Web Designer and Front-End Developer. I have over six years experience producing web sites and online applications that are aesthetically pleasing, engaging and easy to use.
When it comes to producing for the web I support two simple principles for the end user... "Don't make me think" and "Give me what I want". I recently came across a blog post that illustrated the concept nicely:
Give Internet users what they want and everyone wins: web users benefit from ease of use and efficiency; businesses enjoy increased leads and sales; and web professionals maximize income and fill their portfolios with winning websites.
Webcopyplus @ Web Designer Wall "Users Place More Weight on Design"
With these ideas in mind I pay close attention to detail at every stage of the design process in order to consistently produce sophisticated web solutions...
Please have a look around and feel free to contact me if you have questions about any of the work on display here. I hope you enjoy your visit to Exactly Like Nothing Else!
News
- An update! 21 June 2009: Exactly Like Nothing Else now includes links to my recent Bluearc projects. The bulk of the projects featured here are still in development so I'll get the full case studies up once the projects actually go live. Check them out on the Work page.
- In the works. 15 June 2009: I'm currently working on two major projects, Georges River Combined City Councils and the Royal Flying Doctors Service of Australia. Looking forward to posting links to the new sites soon!
- New web app. 11 May 2009: I'm close to wrapping up the front-end development of a new web app that allows contractors to log and submit timesheets online. It is an internal app so I won't be posing links to the live version, but static versions of the interface templates can be viewed here: eTimesheet
- Static website. 18 February 2009: Here is a small static website that I recently completed at Bluearc www.asharrison.com.au. I was able to get all "strict" with the XHTML :)
- My first major BlueArc site goes live. 21 January 2009: And it's a big one! Make sure you look under the hood to see what's going on. The site is powered by Bluearc's flagship CMS "Ignitionsuite" so please ignore any dodgy markup that may have crept in there via the CMS users. www.sydneycricketground.com.au
- First day on the job. 15 September 2008: My front-end development skills are about to go to a whole new level as I take on my new role at the Bluearc group as of today :)
